our story

take a walk down memory lane

We were introduced by a long time mutual friend in 2016 at t.f. browns in Batavia. Kyle bought CATIE a blue light and the rest is basically history.

We will celebrate 10 years together in June of this year.

Since meeting weVE TRAVELED TO 13 STATES, attended 29 concerts, VISITED 7 NATIONAL PARKS And completely renovated our house, hiked and paddled countless miles. And now it’s time for our next great adventure. Getting married!

On April 2oth of 2025, at 11 pm we pulled into one of our very favorite places, Shenandoah national park - for a quick 36 hour stop.

We set up our tent in the dark, and set the alarm to hit the trail early with permits WE had scored only a few weeks before.

We set out to hike old rag mountain and when we got to the top, Kyle surprised CATIE and got down on one knee. We had chef boyardee raviolli for dinner to celebrate.

faq

Q. When is the wedding?
A. Our wedding is on September 26, 2026, in Bethany, NY.

Q. What’s the vibe of the day?*
A. Think outdoor barn party: a tented celebration with a barn on site. Plan for grass and uneven ground, and bring a layer in case it gets chilly at night.

Q. Are kids invited?
We love your little ones, but our wedding will be an adults‑only celebration. The only children attending will be those in the wedding party or specifically listed on the save the date. Thank you for understanding and for arranging childcare so you can relax and celebrate with us.

Q. Can I bring a plus‑one?
A. If a guest’s name or “and guest” appears on your save the date, they are invited as a plus‑one. Otherwise, we’re only able to accommodate those listed on the save the date.

Q. What should I wear?
A. We’ll share a formal dress code closer to the date, but think “elevated barn party”: dressy outfits with comfortable shoes that work on grass and in a barn.

Q. Will more details be added later?
A. Yes—closer to invitations going out, we’ll add specifics about timing, transportation, parking, and any weekend events. Check back as we get closer to the big day.
